Sweet potato… A superfood that elevates mood!!!
Can something like sweet potato(Shakar Kandi) be good for us??
We all feel blue from time to time and food can play a vital role to lift our mood. Sweet potato ‘a beautiful purple root vegetable is a complex carbohydrate that on eating releases the “Feel good” chemical serotonin which helps in elevating your mood.
When we were kids, we used to enjoy and cherish coal-roasted sweet potatoes as snacks in the evening with tamarind and green chutney.
We used to love to have it and remembering those scrumptious delights makes my mouth watery.
We used to feel delighted after having it even after a bad day as sweet potato is a great mood booster as they are rich in Vitamin C.
