What is Sattu?
Sattu a superfood, the common man’s protein shake.
Sattu or roasted gram flour is of high nutritional value and is commonly found in ‘Indian Villages’.
It is basically flour-like considered as a staple food of Bihar and Jharkhand. Sattu is now a global superfood.
Sattu is made by the dry roasting process. It is a rich source of proteins, fiber, iron, manganese, calcium, and many more beneficial nutrients. Every 100 gm of sattu flour contains 20% protein, just 7% fat, 1% fiber, and 65% carbs which makes this a very nutritious drink.
