Colon Cleanser – Cabbage Soup
Well, to be honest, many would believe that cabbage soup is made just to make people following a diet have bland soups.
Cabbage has diuretic properties that help get rid of your body of excess liquid and toxins. It helps cleanse your liver and colon. This is why cabbage forms the base for this detox cabbage soup. Apart from its health advantages and it being a colon cleanser, it is a delicious and wholesome dinner to have with rice!
This is not the complete list as it can further be experimented with other veggies too.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-inch ginger (finely chopped)
- 2 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 4 tbsp spring onion (chopped)
- 2 cup cabbage (roughly chopped)
- 1 carrot (shredded)
- ½ capsicum (sliced)
- 4 cup water
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp pepper powder
- 2 tbsp mint (chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander (chopped)
Directions
• Put the olive oil in a soup pot on medium heat.
• Add the onion, carrot, celery, bell pepper, and garlic.
• Stir the veggies in the vessel for 10 minutes.
• Add cabbage and cook until softened. It would take another 10 minutes.
• Add tomato paste, coriander, and cumin(as per liking and taste).
• Cook for another minute.
• Add the broth, water, beans, and salt and cover it to a boil.
• Cook for 10 minutes on low heat, partially covering the pan.
• When the veggies are completely soft, serve and enjoy.
