Here is a relatively easy recipe that can deliver what may be the best tortillas you’ve ever had:
For The Corn Tortillas
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup maize flour (Makki ka atta)
- 1/4 cup oats flour
- 1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt according to taste.

Method For Corn Tortillas
- To make the corn tortillas, mix the flours, oil, and salt and make a dough by adding enough warm water.
- Knead the dough well and keep it aside for 1/2 hour. Knead again.
- Divide the dough into equal portions.
- Depending on the diameter you require for the dish, roll out each portion in thin rounds with the help of a little flour.
- Cook lightly on a tava (griddle) and keep aside.
